Development of a New Targeted FM Communication System

EMTEL is proud to announce the development of a new FM radio and system interface where FM broadcasts can be directed at one or one hundred thousand radios in a few seconds. These radios are being designed to wake up the targeted individual, identify the type of hazard, display the emergency message, and provide NOAH and all other AM/FM bands. EMTEL has teamed with the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) to rollout and test this new radio system for use in municipalities, counties, state governments, universities and corporate entities, world wide.

This radio technology is also being developed for first responders to be utilized by fire, police, swat, and military teams; a simplified version will be available to hand out to thousand of responders to integrate visiting teams with local teams in power scarce environments. This FM radio is part of the Global Respond911™ solution which was designed to work in power scarce environments when cell or RF antennas are down or non-functioning. EMTEL has plans to order these radios in mass quantities via Midland Radio Corporation.
