EMTEL Launches OutReach911™

OutReach911™ is the most sophisticated and reliable geo-graphic emergency notification system available today. This wireless, mobile, portable, robust, and affordable communication system is currently being tested and implemented at the City of Palm Bay Florida where all EMTEL RESPOND® products will be tested and utilized by police, fire and emergency management agencies in the municipality.

The new system runs on a waterproof/shockproof laptop that can be mounted in an emergency vehicle or utilized in an emergency operations center. If the center loses power or must be evacuation, simply take the laptop to any other operations location and it is fully operational with all data, personnel, and emergency scenario response packages in tact.

The System does not have to be plugged into the phone system like other calling systems. Since it works on the wireless internet, it can be anywhere and still generate communications. If the laptop is incapacitated, lost or stolen, the user simply goes to any computer in the world with internet connectivity and can access the calling system through a secure CITRIX interface where all maps and data are backed up and immediately available. By having multiple laptops and multiple call engines at different locations reliability is insured and call capacity is enhanced. The call centers have backup power and multiple access loops to insure security and reliability at the T1 and DS3 long distance circuit access points. The new OutReach911™ has expanded sorting routines and multiple phone base capacity to run several targeted scenarios simultaneously. Software scenario and Interactive Voice Response simulators provide damage assessment and evacuation compliance surveys. The system communicates on thirteen notification delivery conveyances simultaneously to insure that the target party is located and the message is delivered.
